Some Backstory
I am Khadijah Adam born in Michigan, 1994, raised in North Carolina. My family consists of eight siblings with me being #6. My Mom is a seamstress who has over 40 years of experience in alterations, garment design, and custom clothing; so, my initial shove into the art world was with fabric/ fiber. My most memorable encounter art was in Ms. Weisenses 7th grade art class, where she encouraged me to enter the school art show competition. She helped me realize that this was my absolute favorite subject. It felt as though it was the only subject I passed with flying colors. I was that quiet kid in class that was always bored until art class or until the class had a creative project like macaroni necklaces.
Fast forward to being newly married, moving states, and enrolling in college; I received an associate degree in Graphic Design from Hillsborough Community College in 2017 and gained some experience in logo design. Early in my career, my course changed from searching for a degree related job to finding a creative way to turn art into a business that let me call the shots on my daily tasks, and actually enjoy my work. Institutional school did not suit my introverted and right- brain characteristics, so I chose the "safe" route of Graphic Design, as it combined my love of technology with art collage. In addition, I was able to complete my Associate's while exploring other avenues of education and find what career path was best.
Lately, I am self- taught in graphic design, digital design, sewing, painting, drawing, collage, knitting, embroidery (hand and machine), and counting! I intend to continue studying via free and paid online resources to further improve the art I produce and sell.
*Note: Seriously Khadijah began as bintadamblog in 2016 Florida, USA. It has since gone through growth and a change in direction to functional fiber arts, prints, canvas arts, stationary and practically anything I can create with my own two hands. Seriously Khadijah's motto is: "Seriously gorgeous art!"

This is What I Do
You'll find here: DIY (print at home) art prints, print-on- demand art prints, greeting cards, stickers, original fine art, fabric coasters, bookmarks, bags and more. Everything is handmade and typically can't be duplicated. After an art print sells out it will be discontinued as an art print. This will help make sure each art print stays few and far between; even more so, it is an easy way to continuously improve my art skills by making something better than before.

Just because I say they are art prints, doesn't mean that's their only purpose. My work can be printed on vinyl, sublimated/ heat transferred on to t-shirts or mugs, and made into greeting cards, (if it's for personal use) to name a few. Get creative and visualize where you would like to see Seriously Khadijah's multipurpose digital prints.

Original Fine Art
The creativity doesn’t stop at digital art. I still find time to get my hands dirty. (*Follow on Instagram for details.) When I’m not staring intensely at a screen: I pull out a hot glue gun, scissors, paper, and faux flowers to create a collage you can touch if you decide to buy an original. The physical artwork of Seriously Khadijah will likely be 3-Dimensional so, there won’t be any prints or remakes of them. Once a canvas, paper, or wood original is created, that’s it! It’s practically impossible to create one similar or the same.
